I took advantage of the warm weather this past week. The weekend was a little windy, but I managed to cut the (overgrown) grass, in shorts, in November, in Michigan! I also managed to get a night ride in on my mountain bike. I really need to do more night riding in the woods, it’s a lot of fun!
I’m still figuring out my new bike computer I picked up last month, a Garmin Edge 520+. I’m not sure if it was by default, but I was getting all my phone notifications to my screen… I didn’t really need to see the live score update of the Patriots/Jets game from NFL mobile (I’ve got it only showing messages and phone calls now).
In other news, the kids are still doing face-to-face in this COVID crazy-time. Some of the schools north of us are going/have gone to virtual learning and I really hope that is not the case for us. It’s tough trying to get work done with little ones running around not following the lesson plan or goofing off on their computers. If it comes down to that, I might have to switch my work schedule up again (not fun) or maybe reduce my working hours so I can focus on the kids getting their stuff done.
