I hit the two year mark at DICE a couple weeks ago, things are going
\npretty good. I’m still working on my video application that is really
\nstarting to take off. I guess it helps when the only other company that
\nproduces a similar product is going out of business… Although, I did
\ntake a personal day last Wednesday to take a trip down to Detroit. It
\nwasn’t a sight-seeing kind of day, although I went to parts I hadn’t seen
\nbefore. I was at the federal building for a few hours taking the FBI Phase
\nI exam. I found out recently I failed that exam, but I can take it again
\nin six months if I want. I’m not sure if I’m going to take it again, IF I
\ndo pass I need to pass the physical fitness test with at least a 16 (12 is
\nthe FBI minimum, but the Detroit office requires a 16) in order to go to
\nthe next phase. I’ll probably take it if I’m able to pass the PFT by then
\n(it’s pretty tough… you can check out the requirements on the FBI’s
\nwebsite…)<\/p>\n
Waldo’s been home for a few weeks now, he seems to be getting bigger and
\nbigger every day. As of lately he hasn’t been having a lot of accidents in
\nthe house (which is a good thing \ud83d\ude42 ). Scout and Waldo are pretty much
\nmortal enemies. We ended up moving all of Scout’s stuff to the upstairs
\nbathroom (she wouldn’t use the litter box because that would require going
\npast the dog…) She pretty much spends all her time in there now, which
\nshe seems happy… maybe they will get along some day. We are training her
\nto use the toilet instead of a litter box, it started off pretty rocky,
\nbut since the upstairs move, she is actually starting to do a lot
\nbetter… We bought a Litter Kwitter, which basically is a litter box that
\nsits on the toilet. As the cat gets more used to the idea, you can put
\ndifferent trays in with bigger and bigger holes. Right now, Scout is at
\nthe no-hole phase and actually using the Litter Kwitter while it’s on the
\ntoilet (something she wouldn’t do before).<\/p>\n
St. Patrick’s day came and went and the Sunday after we were in Bay City
\nfor the annual St. Patrick’s day race! I ran the 5K while Susan did the 5K
\nwalk. I managed to beat my best time ever… Susan also did really good,
\nshe got third place in her age division… and beat my super-competitive
\nboss! Susan also did a 4 mile walk the next Saturday and got second place
\nin her age division (beaten only by one of her sorority sisters she signed
