Well, a lot’s happened since I’ve posted a blog entry, when I last left
\nyou off, Susan and I were getting ready for the Loons 2nd Annual 5K
\nPennant Run\/Walk. Getting our forms in early not only got us a sweet new
\nt-shirt, but lawn seats to the game later that day. We both changed our
\nentries to be walks and it was a lot of fun. Susan’s a little speed-walker
\nand finished a few minutes before I did, of course I was working off a
\nslight unicycle accident I had a couple days before. You can see our
\nresults over here. Once I get the entry forms in, we’ll be doing another
\nrace June 7 (maybe I’ll even run this one!) The day of the race was pretty
\nsunny and warm (especially to be walking ~3.3 miles), but that night it
\ngot pretty cold. Susan and I were wrapped up in the blanket, and even
\nthough it was cold out, the stadium was out of hot chocolate, again! \ud83d\ude41 We
\nalso had tickets to the game on Sunday and that game went be so fast, and
\nthe Loons actually won! We got a package this year and have another game
\ncoming up on Thursday.<\/p>\n
We’ve replaced a member in our fleet. Susan found an awesome deal on a
\nGrand Prix and sold her car within a week! It’s a 2007 silver Grand Prix
\nwith low miles and Susan even managed to negotiate a lower price!
\nUnfortunately, the car was at K.I. Sawyer Airforce Base (way up north!)
\nLuckily Susan’s folks were nice enough to meet us at the bridge last
\nweekend to pick it up (thanks Jim and Fay!) It was nice, we had lunch with
\nboth Susan’s grandma’s and her folks. Cedar Point will have to wait a
\ncouple more days (it opened May 10) Speaking of Cedar Point, we found out
\nthe other day, with our Season Passes we get to go in the park an hour
\nearly and go on a handful of rides (including Maverick, Millenium Force,
\nand a couple other sweet rides!)<\/p>\n
My job’s still going great, we’re going onsite soon to test the software
\nI’ve been developing over the past few weeks and get some feedback from an
\nactual customer! Susan’s dilemma at her job seems to be getting better
\neach day (she has a problem even a Ph D chemist can’t solve!) My lunch
\nbreak is slowly coming to an end, and that’s about all I can think of for
